Hello h00mans!
I just released the full soundtrack to Creepy OS! Give your second monitor some love right here:
When I started this little jam game, I actually wrote the outline first and then started on music & sound right away. After the writing of the dialogue and the rest of the game began, it became clear that my scope knife would have to be upgraded to some kind of scope sword. Maybe even more than that. A scope bulldozer! Yes, that's it!
That is a story for another day, though! If you want to read more stuff about me trying to do this game dev thing, why don’t you get signed-up for my newsletter to get notified? The soundtrack of Creepy OS was inspired by old software & computers. Therefore, I used a lot of harsh-sounding, simple FM synth sounds and made them buttery and nostalgic by dipping them in some reverb. Pair that with some simple & sweet melodies for two simple & sweet creepers, and you've got yourself a little soundtrack that's also manageable in the scope of a game jam.
Creepy OS was my first ever-finished game. It's flawed, but I love it because it marks the point, where I finally released something into the world.
